Zeltrons are descended from Humans, having evolved into their own genetically distinct species. Being able to both sense and project feelings through their empathic abilities means that their entire species tends to prefer living—and helping others to live—a happy life. If you add in the pheromones that they produce, being in their presence is quite intoxicating. On the subject of intoxication, Zeltrons have two livers which allows them to process alcohol out of their system significantly faster than other species. Those who meet a Zeltron for the first time often feel an instant familiarity, as though having met them before. All of this combines to make their planet Zeltros a luxury vacation and party destination that few want to leave.

As far as relationships, Zeltrons look at monogamy as a quaint foreign custom which is destined to fail. Romance is just a game to be enjoyed with those around you. They have a similar viewpoint of fighting, but they'd rather make love than war. Other pursuits fall into agricultural and medical advancements with a focus on pharmaceuticals. They're also very talented at holograms—both the technology itself and the media which accompanies it—and are known for making great strides in the advancements of pleasure domes.
