Wayland
Lore
The planet Wayland was originally discovered during the Old Republic's second wave of expansion. A colony ship crashed on the planet, and due to an improper entry in the official astrogation charts the colonists were left on their own. Besides the human colonists, Wayland was also inhabited by two intelligent species, the Psadan and the Myneyrsh. With only bow and arrow technology, the two species were no match for the blasters and repulsors the colonists brought with them. However, power cells do not last forever, and the colonists were forced to take up the technology of the natives.
