Gank (or sometimes called "Gank Killers") are members of the alien species considered the bodyguards of choice by many Hutt crime lords. They can be seen in the presence of Hutts any place frequented by the sluglike Hutt species.

It is rare to see a Gank with their helmets off. This leaves nothing but an expressionless mask for the others to see. One of the reasons for keeping their helmets on is to hide all of the extreme mods and cybernetics Gank are typically enhanced with. They even communicate with each other via implanted comms devices instead of speech.

Because of their unique physiology, Gank characters have advanced experience with bioengineering and cybernetics.
